Meet The Teachers
Sarah Werrell
Sarah was first introduced to yoga as a teenager by her father who was an Iyengar teacher in the 1970's. After a fulfilling career as a midwife, Sarah moved to Spain where she rediscovered Iyengar yoga. She trained as a teacher and qualified in 2007.
"Yoga not only keeps me healthy it also sustains and nourishes me through the ups and downs of life. My mission is to do my best to help and inspire others to do yoga in the same way as I have been helped and inspired," says Sarah.

Diana Green
Diana has a background in both physiology and garden design; she has practised Iyengar yoga for over 10 years. From attending her very first Iyengar class Diana loved the scientific, artistic and philosophic elements in yoga, and credits it with transforming her wellbeing and her outlook on life. She became a certified Iyengar teacher to share this with others. Her classes vary from fast-paced and energetic to more recuperative and thought-provoking." Diana teaches an early morning class on Saturdays and at the end of the month teaches a 2 hour workshop.

Teaching Standards
All Iyengar teachers are certified, carrying the Iyengar Yoga Teachers Certification mark, this is a sign of excellence. They undergo a minimum of 6 years training in the Iyengar method and have to undergo rigorous assessment. Every teacher must continue further monitored yoga learning and practice throughout their career to retain their certification and IYUK insurance.
Iyengar yoga is practised and taught the world over. The same standards and style of classes will apply wherever you go on the Planet.
